I might be alone in my opinion but this year's World Series seemed like a joke to me. I didn't even realize the Phillies had won until reading it in the paper the next morning (in a very small section I might add). It seemed like both teams came out of nowhere. I would have thought that both of these teams, who had gone pretty much unrecognized, would have taken the chance of competing for the World Series to get a little more press time. Either the teams were too blown away by the fact that they were in the championship or their PR departments are sorely lacking.
