It's hard to believe there is news other than the proposed bailout of Wall Street firms. Headlines are large, the twists and turns of Congress documented breathlessly and actions of individuals like Warren Buffett commented on relentlessly. Reporters don't want to hear about much else. Yet, media relations continues. The work of a PR practitioner in times like this is harder than ever.

This post interested me in the fact that all I feel I hear about lately is the Wall Street Woes. Still I feel like I have a very small understanding about what is actually happening. The work of these PR practitioners is hard, yes, and the media is also responsible, but, are we getting the information we need to know? Does anyone have the information they need to know?
